After spending many years refining his winemaking skills at Fairview Wine Estate, Erlank Erasmus made the move to independent winemaking. Working for a big estate brings with it heritage & job security but working as an independent winemaker brings freedom, flexibility and self identity. Erlank sources all of his grapes for the Erasmus Family range from the Swartland region, its warmer temperatures well suited to his favoured varieties like Shiraz & Granache. Our personal favourite though is undoubtedly his Rhône Reserve, a big yet silky smooth red blend.
