City on a Hill White 2020

Chenin Blanc has spent most of its' life in the shadow of its more famous cousin Sauvignon Blanc. In South Africa though the tables have turned, so much so that Chenin Blanc is the most widely planted grape varietal in the country. This bottle is a spectacular example of why this is the case. Stone fruit flavours from the Chenin, floral aromas and body from the Muscat combine to create this unique and refreshing white blend.

City on a Hill

Independent winemaker André Bruyns spent years refining his craft in various regions in South Africa & France before creating his own range with a focused goal in mind. The vision of City on a Hill wines is to showcase the best of the region & community André loves, the Swartland. As an independent winemaker he has the flexibility to alter the composition of his headline red and white blends each vintage based on which grapes thrive that year. You could view his Red and White blends as an annual journal of the region. If you're looking for something a little different try out his dry Muscat!
