You’re completely forgiven if you haven’t heard of this grape varietal. Touriga Nacional became famous as the base of many of Portugal’s famous Port wines. Don't be fooled though, this wine is anything but sweet, it's a bold and full bodied red. This wine greets you with dark fruit aromas of plum & blueberry. Intense fruit flavours and grippy tannins makes this the perfect companion for a juicy steak. The winemakers minimalist winemaking style means each vintage is a little different and that’s exactly the way he likes it.
